• 4 cups of oats
  • 8 tablespoons of desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup of chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup of almond flakes
  • 4 tablespoons of mixed seeds 
  • 4 tablespoons of honey
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons of dried fruit (optional)


Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees C.

Mix all the dry ingredients, apart from the dried fruit, in a large pan.

Add the oil coating all the oats.

Add the honey and stir to create clusters.

Bake for 10minutes until golden brown.

Stir the mixture to show the raw oats and bake for another 5minutes.

Stir again and bake for a further 5minutes.

Be careful not to let the walnuts burn or they will taste bitter.

take the mixture from the oven and stir to make sure it doesn't stick to the pan.

Leave to cool for 10minutes and then add the fruit and put it in a storage container. 

This Granola will last for a few weeks if you don't eat it all before then.
